1、教材總析
《PEP Primary English》是一套全新的中小學(xué)銜接的英語(yǔ)教材。本教材編寫的思路是以話題為綱,以交際功能為主線,兼顧語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu),逐步引導(dǎo)學(xué)生運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)完成有實(shí)際目的語(yǔ)言任務(wù)。即:話題—功能—結(jié)構(gòu)—任務(wù)。教材的主要特點(diǎn)體現(xiàn)為強(qiáng)調(diào)語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用,注重學(xué)生能力培養(yǎng),突出興趣激發(fā),重視雙向交流和學(xué)科的融合。

進(jìn)行分角色朗讀課文.最后并予以掌聲,給予肯定和獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)
5)教師把故事短文分為4部分,設(shè)置情景,進(jìn)行逐一翻譯,易于學(xué)生理解
6)針對(duì)故事短文的知識(shí)點(diǎn),一一講解分析,例have to do sth最好做某事句型,并及時(shí)做好板書,時(shí)刻促使學(xué)生看黑板,培養(yǎng)注意力不分散
7)情景再現(xiàn),將學(xué)生分組,找四名同學(xué),分別帶上面具,試著扮演短文中四個(gè)角色,Jenny Jenny's mather Jenny's mother Denny,讓學(xué)生們身臨其境,去領(lǐng)悟故事短文中意思,掌握交際中的技巧和方法,挖掘?qū)W生們運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的創(chuàng)造能力

Step 1 Warming-up
1. Do a chant together.

1. Listen to the tape and students need to answer “What is it about?”
Teacher should give them more knowledge about how to keep ourselves safe in our life.

3. Make a summary about how to read “d, p, t” in a sentence. And the teacher should read at least two times for students to make sure that students can understand it.
Step 3 Practice
Listen to the tape again and students read the chant in teams in 3 minutes, and then they will make a competition, the winner will get small gifts (post card, book marks and so on) from the teacher.
Step 4 Production
1. Give students 2 minutes; they need to collect some words which contain d, p or t with their desk mates (dog, food, feet…).
2. Brainstorm (2 minutes).

Teacher should give them a guidance and summary about the way to protect themselves in their life.
Step 5 Summary and homework
Read the chant together, and ask them to make a small dance for it, we will perform it next class, students also need to sing this chant to their parents.
